Images from SPG Architects Kageno Project in Rwanda' are being used as part of the dialog to inspire Rwandan nationals to recognize the importance of a design school called ISASI in the capital city of Kigali. Danish business graduates and American architectural educator William Tate share a philosophy that architectural design and entrepreneurship can help Rwanda heal from the harrowing years of its recent past.
As Tate states:"We ... think Rwanda is incredibly fertile ground for this new thinking and unconventional education. That is exactly what the world today needs, and Rwanda will lead the way"

To this ISASI aspires.....

SPG enters a Competition for the Museum of New Immigration, sponsored by Arquitectum. The Museum of Modern Immigration serves as a tribute to the post-1960 immigrant's experience. The museum's form, essentially a 100 meter tall x 100 meter wide x 10 meter deep building, serves as a metaphoricial wall that comments on the United States efforts to control the flow of immigration into the country. The wall, however, is not a solid barrier, it is a transparent building which serves to invite visitors rather than repel them. The building functions as a visual gateway through which the guest can view and enter the city. The building could be located off of Battery Park in the New York City's harbor and frames views of the Statue of Liberty, New York's original tribute to immigrants.
